JINIL JANG
My name is Jinil Jang.
I’m a Master Student in Computer Science at New York University (Class 2013).
My interesting areas are Distributed Systems, Computer Network, Cloud Computing, the Web, Security and Privacy.
I got married with Aeri Kim last year.
She is also a Master Student in Voice Performance at University of Massachusetts Amherst (Class 2014).
Thanks to God, We got admissions at the same time, married, and now, live in the New York Manhattan Upper East side. That was our dream.
The special experience in my life is ROTC.
I served in the Republic of Korea Army for 2 years and 4 months as a Platoon Leader (First Lieutenant).
Through this period, I can learn leadership, responsibility and patience.
My previous hobby was Computer Certification collecting. (Not anymore)
I have about 20 certifications in various area, such as Java, Cisco network, and MS office programs.
My recent hobby is taking pictures.
